After Jang-hong’s successful trial result, his spirit was reincarnated after 49 days in the afterlife, thanks to the effort of the three guardians. Now, another spirit they are about to defend, the curious spirit is more likely to stay in the underworld and accept the fact that he is already dead than to be born again. The spirit of Kim Soo-hong (Jang-hong’s brother who died in a gunshot).
First stop is the “Hell Evil”. As the trial begins, guardian leader Gang Rim asks Majesty Yeomra for fair judgement over Soo-hong’s case. Yeomra accepts Gang Rim’s proposal to reinvestigate Soo-hong’s cause of death in one condition, that is to bring the ghost of Heo Choon-sam. The three guardians separated after making an arrangement with Yeomra. Gang Rim proceeds to the next trial along with Soo-hong while guardians Hewonmak and Deok-choon handle the Heo Choon-sam matter.
Hidden agendas and a lot of secrecy are uncovered as the three guardians do their tasks. Each guardian’s history has been revealed through Seongju, “The God Of The House” who has protected Choon-sam and his grandson. The secrets that shake each guardians loyalty and friendship.
