Along With The Gods: The Two Worlds Plot
Kim Ja-hong, still conscious after falling with the little girl whom he rescued from the burning building, was happy to see himself and the little one alive and in one piece. But he was so shocked to know that he dies in the line of duty and is escorted to the afterlife by three guardians, Hae Won-maek, Lee Deok-choon, and their leader Gang-rim. The three guardians are to escort and defend him in seven trials in 49 days. If he passes, he will be reincarnated and his guardians will be given credit towards their own reincarnation.
Ja-hong is the first paragon for the past 19 years, in that case, the three guardians do their best to help Ja-hong overcome the 7 trials ( Betrayal, Violence, Filial Impiety, Murder, Indolence, Deceit, Injustice) so that he will reincarnate after 49 days of trial if he makes it till the end.
