Beast Clawing At Straws Plot
The stories entangled peoples’ lives for the sake of money.
Joong-man is an all-around employee in a sauna, stuck in a thankless job and forced to care for his ailing mother, finds a huge bag of money that was left by Tae-young, a customs officer. Tae-young is in debt to criminal Mr. Park, has an affair with Yeon-hee (a crime boss) that runs a business which also in debt to Mr. Park. On the other hand, Mi-ran, an escort with an abusive husband, works under Yeon-hee, finally sees a way out when one of her clients offers to murder him in exchange for a cut of his life insurance policy.
Different characters all cross paths with dangerous people and get themselves into increasingly deeper trouble as they attempt to cheat their way towards the ultimate payout.
The film is separated into six chapters: Debt, Sucker, Food Chain, Shark, Lucky Strike, and Money Bag.
