Cold Eyes Plot
Moving casually inside the train, Ha Yoon- joo, is taking a final test to become a member of a police division where the members are largely unarmed and don’t wear uniforms. Her skills are a big bonus to the operation, most likely, capturing everyone’s movement or action is what her eyes are capable of, and had a brilliant mind that can memorize every little thing in detail. Her code is “Piglet”, the moment she was hired by the surveillance team led by a man named Hwang. The division avoids arresting criminals and focuses exclusively on following them around to gather information.
Their target is James, the leader of the criminals, who efficiently rob a bank. The surveillance team immediately runs into trouble when they can’t identify any of the robbers due to their masks. Hwang, Ha, and six other officers spend several weeks wandering around the city streets, tagging after people who match the criminal’s physical description. When they finally find him, they put cameras outside his apartment.
James on the other hand wishes to quit his line of work, but his elderly mentor responds by sending a man to kill him, whom he successfully defends against. James has nothing to do but comply with his last assignment and the outcome becomes a big failure. From the very start of the operation, the surveillance team has pointed out each member’s/ robber’s identity. As they’re about to reach the location, they’re already surrounded by the police. Luckily, James successfully escaped and killed one member of the surveillance team.
Yoon- joo, eating by guilt seeing upon Squirrel slowly dying on her arms, now recalls the events during the day she took the final exam and up to the day of the series operation they’ve gone through. Looking for a chance to find the face of the culprit might just show up in her memory…just a little clue to continue haunting James, the culprit.
