His Last Gift Plot
Temporary release, a test of freedom for a while for Tae-joo who is a murderer and serving a life sentence in prison. Upon his temporary release is to save a little girl’s life. A seriously ill young girl, Se-hee, who suffers from Wilson’s disease and desperately needs a liver transplant, then, only Tae-joo’s liver matches Se-hee. Se-hee is the daughter of Yeong-woo, an old friend of Tae-joo’s who is now a police officer. As Tae-joo had another plan that is to search Hye-yeong, his ex-girlfriend, and seize the moment to escape.
Tae-joo twice attempts to escape turns out to be frustrating, the last one was he got stuck by Se-hee, instead, he accompanied the little girl to her late mother’s place. Only to discover that Se-hee’s biological mother is Hye-yeong, then Tae-joo’s changed his mind and became motivated at the same time felt broken once more.
