Mr. Go Plot
At her age, Wei Wei became a young circus ringmaster after her grandfather who originally owned the circus died. Wei Wei is now facing a crisis and struggling on how to handle the business which her grandfather left only but an insurmountable debt that Wei Wei couldn’t imagine how to surpass. All she has is a bat-swinging gorilla Ling Ling to depend on as her only family member and friend.
To keep her life and the circus alive, Wei Wei decided to allow Ling Ling to be scouted in the Korean Baseball League by the materialistic sports agent Sung. Wei Wei leaves no choice but to take the opportunity because of the pressure that the loan shark threatens to sell Ling Ling and the circus kids to cover the debt.
As Ling Ling, now dubbed “Mr. Go,” becomes an instant hit with fans and leads his team Doosan Bears to a miraculous winning streak, Wei Wei is constantly reminding agent Sung for the agreement they made and hopeful to come home with the amount to save the circus and the kids.
