Pained Plot
Nam-soon is a debt collector, lost his sense of pain after a traumatic accident at a young age, and now he can’t feel pain after beating even regularly. While Dong- hyun is a street vendor who suffers from severe hemophilia, a rare disorder in which blood doesn’t clot normally because it lacks sufficient blood-clotting proteins (clotting factors). For Dong- hyun, even the most minor of injuries could be deadly, the reason why she avoids getting sick as much as possible. She left homeless after Nam-soon collected the last money she had. After knowing Dong- hyun’s situation, Nam-soo decided to take her in so it will be easy for him to collect the money.
As the two become closer, Nam-soon begins to lose his lifelong insensitivity to pain, and the hurt of a lifetime washes over him. Together, these two lonely souls learn to hurt and hope again.
