The Accidental Gangster And The Mistaken Courtesan Plot

Set in Joseon Dynasty Korea, 1724. Cheon-doong is a fearless hoodlum from a small village, meets and falls in love with Seol-ji, a kisaeng at Myung Wol Hyang, a luxurious bar. One day he gets into a fight with the head of the Yangjoo gang, which brings a crisis later when the palace decides to crack down on gang activity at Myung Wol Hyang. Due to his love towards Seol-ji, Cheon-doong inadvertently incurs the anger of the top-ranking gangster in the area, Man-deuk. Man-deuk is an ambitious and arrogant gang leader, his pride was touched thinking that Cheon-doong is going to take over his position and his slave, Seol-ji. Fear to lose his power, Man-deuk orders his men to kill Cheon-doong
