The Admiral Roaring Currents Plot
In 1597 it was the Battle of Myeongnyang, known as one of legendary Jeoson Admiral Yi Sun-sin’s most remarkable naval victories which led the only 12 ships remaining in his command to a heroic victory against an invading Japanese fleet numbering 333 vessels.
At the onset of battle, the Japanese invaders under Todo Takatora are confident that the capture of the king of Hansong (King Seonjo) will become successful.
